There was a
big drug bust in the city, not too far from our house, on Tuesday night. Four hundred pounds of marijuana was seized, including some plants that were 4 feet tall. 33 year-old John Arbuckle was arrested. No word on whether Garfield or Odie were taken into custody.

The article says that after trial the department will dispose of the "evidence" by burning it. I wonder where their burn site is...
This may explain why Garfield ate so much lasagna. Munchies.
