I think his speech was dumb. As if political violence is only a fact in present day America. Please. Pick up history book sometime.
i think he's right to be dismayed that it is STILL such an acceptable part of modern rhetoric. that's why I can't stand partisan politics, blaming problems and inciting negative emotions towards the other side doesn't work to solve the problems. They won't get solved unless everyone pitches in together.
